Meet Juneanne

Updated: Mar 16, 2023

When we decided we wanted to venture down the felted soap paths, we put out the word locally because we especially love the opportunity to work with locally sourced products made by local folks. We had several amazing connections from this call for local soap makers, one special connection being Juneanne.

Meet Juneanne

Juneanne lives around Homedale, ID, less than 10 miles away from Rogers Neighborhood Farm. She's been making soap since her teens when she started the old school way. However, 25 years ago she moved to plant based oils. She typically does round flat bars, which we love because we find them to be more user friendly than squares or rectangles. Her bars give a really luxurious lather and stay solid down to the last little sliver. They are also a full ounce or more than pretty much any other bar on the market.

Her products contain no synthetic ingredients and no petrochemicals – each product is made with good health and vitality in mind, not mass production and high profit. She is committed to creating products containing nature’s most remarkable elements, which you know we are all about as well.

Using all natural ingredients, and all natural formulas, each product is carefully formulated to deliver the many benefits of each unique blend. All of her products reflect ongoing efforts to preserve Mother Earth's natural resources by being environmentally friendly and cruelty-free.

Why We Love Her

We love Juneannne because she’s great human who saw the potential with felted soaps using alpaca fiber. All of our round bar felted 4+ounce soaps come made with love from Juneanne. She is so easy to do business with and we never have to wonder if we are getting a good product from her.

Juneanne and her family (a total of 3 generations!) are launching a new business October 1st, 2022 after they took a much needed break from soap making. Check out Sage Creek Trading Co. and give them a follow on social media. We look forward to checking out all the great things (in addition to soaps) she is producing!
